REFLECTIONS 2024-2025

The 2024-2025 Reflections theme: Accepting Imperfection

Reflections is a National PTA program in which students can express themselves in several artistic areas.  Started in Colorado in 1969, Reflections has encouraged millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.  Students in preschool through 12th grade may create and submit works of art in six categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. please visit the Texas PTA website by clicking on this link https://www.txpta.org/reflections-participation or by pasting it in your browser to learn more about this year’s Reflections program. Both English and Spanish entry forms and rules are available on the website.

Boys and Girls Athletics

FOOTBALL

  • At Tex Hill, we believe that our athletic programs contribute significantly to preparing our students to become productive, and positively contributing citizens.  Our goal is to build a strong foundation based on fundamental skills in order to prepare each student for present and future success. We will do this by continuing our strong Tex Hill traditions centered on commitment, hard work, dedication, determination, discipline, and high expectations. We want our student athletes to compete passionately, win, and do it with integrity.  We hope to prepare each to face life’s challenges with self-discipline, preparation, and teamwork.  Our goal is to continuously strive for academic and athletic excellence.  Our success in achieving that goal depends on the commitment and self-discipline of the program’s participants.

Tex Hill Fine Arts

The fine arts incorporate the study of dance, music, theatre, and the visual arts—and along with student activities‚ that offers unique experiences and empowers students to explore realities, relationships, and ideas. These disciplines engage and motivate all students through active learning, critical thinking, and innovative problem solving.

The fine arts develop cognitive functioning and increase student academic achievement, higher-order thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Students develop aesthetic and cultural awareness through exploration, leading to creative expression. Creativity, encouraged through the study of the fine arts, is essential to nurture and develop the whole child.
